We have integrated in-demand affordable housing into many of our urban communities. These affordable units are often financed through the Apartment Construction Loan Program (ACLP) with Canada Mortgage Housing Corporation (CMHC).

Forma

Designed by visionary architect and Toronto native Frank Gehry, Forma will consist of two towers and comprise over 2,000 units in Toronto’s downtown core. Upon completion, the two towers will stand at 73 and 84 storeys tall and will include seven levels of office space, three levels of retail including a mezzanine, and two levels for the Ontario College of Art and Design University. Construction commenced in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Weston Common is a mixed-income development consisting of two multi-residential high-rise towers, a three-level podium containing live-work units, affordable housing, and a three-level parkade. The property includes 472 value-add suites of which 189 are affordable, and 369 purpose-built suites, of which 27 are affordable suites.

Brighton Village Rentals

Brighton Village Rentals is a multi-phase, purpose-built rental complex located in the heart of Brighton in Saskatoon. Upon completion the complex will comprise ~550 rental units, including apartment and townhome rentals, as well as a retail component. Currently, 277 units are complete and occupied, including the first two buildings,  The Wren (Brighton Village Rentals I) and The Teal (Brighton Village Rentals II ). The third and fourth buildings, consisting of 229 rental units, are currently under construction with completion expected in 2025/2026 respectively. The fifth and sixth buildings consist of approximately an additional 220 rental units and are expected to start construction in 2025/2026 respectively.

Aalto Suites

Aalto Suites is the first purpose-built rental building located in our Zibi master-planned community in Gatineau, Quebec and consists of 162 rental units.  It is located on the shores of the Ottawa River, close to Parliament in Ottawa, transit, multi-use pathways and public parks. The building enjoys net zero heating and cooling through the Zibi Community Utility (ZCU). Aalto Suites was completed in 2022.
